Hi, Thanks again to all of you who generously donated towards our Triple Match end-of-year fundraising effort. It was our most successful ever , raising $17,319.27 in less than 4 weeks. And to start off the new year, we have some very exciting news to share. After many months of behind the scenes intensive work, we are proudly announcing that we have just released our new Community Rights ordinance which entirely bans any corporate 5G wireless internet in a town, city or county. It's titled the  "Right to A Sustainable Digital Infrastructure and Community Self-Government Ordinance" . As many of you are probably already aware, a handful of giant corporations have been doing their best to fast-track the implementation of 5G internet across the US and around the world. 5G wireless internet has never been tested here in the US for its human health or environmental impacts , yet the FCC has already given it an enthusiastic Thumbs Up. Sadly but not surprisingly, this is normal behavior for our nation's  regulatory agencies  which exist not to protect the public's health (as is claimed) but to protect corporate activities from effective public oversight. The public is not clamoring for 5G . It's only necessary for self-driving cars and trucks, virtual reality gaming, even faster downloads of movies, and "the internet of things" which will allow wall to wall 24/7 corporate and government surveillance of all of us! The end of privacy as we know it. 5G wireless is a real menace on so many levels. The secondary insurance market's largest players, companies such as SwissRe and  Lloyd's of London  worry that the exposure that insurers face from EMF lawsuits "is underestimated and could grow exponentially." And 180 scientists from 36 European countries published an extraordinary  Appeal  to the leaders of the European countries pleading with them to place a moratorium on 5G build-out "until the potential risks to human health and the environment have been thoroughly investigated by scientists independent of industry". Local residents across the US are mobilizing as fast as they can to stop the build-out in their communities. We are proud to offer this new strategy to support the fast growing number of local communities in opposition to 5G. If YOU know people anywhere in the US who are trying to figure out how to stop 5G wireless small cells from being installed every two to ten houses (!) across their communities, or if you know of existing anti-5G local groups that may not know about the option of passing a Community Rights local ordinance that bans 5G, PLEASE let them know about our new ordinance . Community Rights Online Training Course

CRUS will soon be launching an online training through The Public Square Academy, a non-partisan online education platform raising the level of public dialogue, participation, and effectiveness. Our course will address how the Community Rights movement can begin to effectively dismantle corporate constitutional "rights" . Course content is offered through Canvas, an online learning management system that offers a flexible, blended approach to learning. Parts of the course will be accessible 24/7, including access to audio files that explain the "invisible" history of the United States that has culminated in the corporate state we now live under. The course also includes several discussion forums (connecting participants around the country), course mentors (who guide the participants through the course content), activities (that deepen engagement with the course content), and weekly real-time meetings in an online classroom. Through this course you will gain connection with the other participants and mentors engage in problem-solving regarding broader structures of governance, and real issues in your community It is our intention that the course will be transformative for you , and that you will leave the course with a new understanding of the systems we are up against, and how we can most effectively dismantle corporate constitutional "rights".
