Youth-centred Participatory Action towards co-created implementation of socially and physically activating environmental interventions in Aalborg (Denmark), Amsterdam (The Netherlands), Osogbo (Nigeria) and Soweto (South Africa)

Highlights

NIGERIA AND SOUTH AFRICA HOLD COMMUNITY EVENTS

The YoPA teams in Osogbo and Soweto hosted impactful events designed to connect with local communities.

In Nigeria, adolescents were encouraged to engage in physical activity through fun and interactive activities. In South Africa, the YoPA project was presented to an audience of around 80 community members, creating a platform for dialogue, interaction, and valuable feedback on the project's goals.

YoPA MEMBERS FACILITATE SESSION IN EUROPE PLACEMAKING WEEK

The prestigious Europe Placemaking Week 2024 took place in Rotterdam in September and four YoPA members joined the event. Together with other colleagues, they facilitated a panel and an interactive workshop about youth engagement in transforming urban spaces for well-being. Read more.
