Are you ready for a summer experience that blends personal growth, outdoor adventure, and global travel? Join us for the Costa Rica Summer 2026 Study Abroad Program at Santa Rosa Junior College — where you’ll immerse yourself in the “Pura Vida” lifestyle while earning college credits, deepening your yoga practice, and developing your teaching skills.

In this unique program you will:

Travel from July 5 to July 26, 2026, exploring Costa Rica’s breathtaking landscapes and vibrant culture.
Take 6 units of yoga-related courses (KIN 70, 71, 72) plus optional online classes (KIN 73, 74). If you complete all five classes, you'll need just one more unit to finish the full 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Program at SRJC.
Stay in comfortable twin/triple rooms at hotels in San José and the Punta Leona Beach Club & Resort, with breakfasts and scheduled group meals included.
Participate in guided excursions and field trips such as:
A half-day tour of San José.
A hike and yoga session at the Huetar Indigenous Reservation.
A full-day visit to Manuel Antonio National Park.
A three-day, two-night stay in Monteverde with a coffee-farm tour, zipline adventure, night hike, and more.
Benefit from a dedicated Tour Manager, included medical insurance, all transportation for excursions, and program support via AIFS during your time abroad.
Cost: $4,395 (covers lodging, excursions, insurance, AIFS services). Additional costs: airfare, day-to-day meals (aside from breakfast and scheduled group meals), tuition/books.
Want to offset costs? A $500 AIFS scholarship is available if you commit to blogging or vlogging about your experience.
