Do you have a strong desire to share your passion and expertise with others? Ideal contract instructors have the flexibility to teach during a variety of dates and times at our Parks and Recreation facilities and must be certified to teach licensed programs, if required. Class offerings must fit into one of the following target ages ranges and categories: Preschool (0-5 years), Youth and Teens (5-17 years), Adults (18+), and/or Older Adults (55+). Princesses of all ages will receive the royal treatment with special activities at the Yorba Linda Community Center, including darling dress-up, creative crafts, enchanting story time, and of course a tea party! A delicious lunch and dessert is included. Registration is required for all participants including Mothers and Grandmothers. Children under 2 yrs of age are FREE with a registered participant! Mini Sports for Mighty Tykes

Join recreation staff every week with your tyke for our Winter Mini Sports classes that focus on fine-tuning motor skills, improving athleticism, and promoting sportsmanship in a fun and energetic environment! Choose from a variety of sports, including soccer, basketball, and multi-sport (soccer, basketball, tee ball, agility and games)! Teens can join their friends for pizza, popcorn, and a showing of S pider-Man: Far From Home (PG-13) on our 20-foot inflatable screen at the Thomas Lasorda Jr. Field House! Register your teen(s) online !

All dads and daughters are invited to saddle up for the Western Rodeo Roundup Dance. Girls ages 4 through 12 can two-step on down to the Yorba Linda Community Center in their cowgirl boots and enjoy a night of dinner, dancing, crafts, and games with their leading man. This event sells out every year, so sign up online today! Both dad and daughter must register.
The purpose of this program is to honor exceptional athletic accomplishments by individual athletes or sports teams in Yorba Linda, and outstanding contributions by athletic organizations serving Yorba Linda. Teens can show off their basketball skills at the 2nd annual 3 on 3 March Madness Hoop & Skills Challenge! The tournament will consist of a round robin format with a guaranteed two-game minimum, while the skills challenge will consist of a dribbling and timed shooting contest.
