York Academy Families:

Despite the weather conditions, arrival and dismissal procedures remain in place. That means using the car lane or parking at Small’s Field. You may not park in the Fox Apartments lot or other surrounding lots and walk your child through the car lane to the school. In addition, parking or waiting in the nearby gravel lot is not permitted. The York Academy prioritizes student safety, and your cooperation is essential.

100th Day of Kindergarten Celebration

Our kindergarten classes celebrated the 100th day of school in style! They paraded around the school and showed off their creative shirts and hats. The students were so excited after the parade, and one little girl said, "I feel so proud."

Each classroom did some fun activities like taking 100 licks of a lollipop, hunting for 100 hidden Hershey Kisses, building a structure with 100 cups and 100 Legos, and reading lots of 100th day books. Apply for the 2025-26 School Year Starting on February 1

We'll be accepting applications for the 2025-26 school year from February 1 - March 31 (K-9th grade). We love welcoming new Knights into our family, so please tell everyone you know! Make sure to share the dates for our upcoming Information Sessions, too.

Already part of our Knight family? Please note that you must complete the application process for siblings. That includes those entering kindergarten.

Is your child on the waiting list for this school year? You will need to reapply for the 2025-26 school year.

Meet our Bright Knight Spotlight

Congrats to our Bright Knight Spotlight, freshman Camila Cardenas Marte! She was nominated for embodying the IB Learner Profile attribute of being knowledgeable.

According to her nominator, "Camila is a very bright knowledgeable student with a positive attitude! Even though English is her second language, she has improved significantly since coming to York Academy."

Way to go, Camila. Keep it up!

RSVP for the Meditar & Lembhali Family Breakfast

Calling all students, families and staff in Meditar and Lembhali! Come join us for a morning of food, fun and family time! We hope to see you in the Upper School Cafeteria on February 3 from 6:45-7:30 a.m. Parking is available at Small's Field.

Students should wear blue or teal tops with uniform bottoms that day. Family members - we'd love to see you wearing your child's House color, too!

It's Time for Valentine's Day Grams

The Lower School Valentine's Day Gram fundraiser is happening from January 27 to February 7. Forms will be sent home with students on Friday. You can also click here to view and print the form. Thanks for your support of our PTO!
