The Arts Council of York County invites artists interested in presenting their work in the Dalton Gallery at the Center for the Arts to submit exhibition proposals for the 2027 & 2028 calendar years. The Dalton Gallery is a well-appointed, 1,800 square-foot professional gallery for the exhibition of experienced artists and community projects. Exhibitions are 1-2 months in length.

Learn to transform everyday scraps into a beautiful, personalized journal in this hands-on Junk Journaling class. You'll explore various mixed-media techniques, from collage to decorative stitching, to create a unique reflection of your memories and creativity.


Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own personal "junk" (like a receipt, pictures, ticket stubs, or anything that may hold memories)!

The Arts Council of York County is proud to welcome back our Summer Art Camps as part of our ongoing art education initiatives. Designed for children 6 - 12 years old, Summer Art Camps introduce students to artistic mediums and methods that they may not experience during their school year.

Students enrolled in Summer Art Camps not only engage with fascinating and unique art mediums, but also learn how to analyze work, think critically, and expand their creative minds through experimentation.
