Helping the elderly and disabled in Fort Mill, Tega Cay and Lake Wylie to get access to on demand transportation

This is new transportation proposal which will give the elderly and disabled in Fort Mill, Tega Cay and Lake Wylie access to the on demand "York County Access Transportation" program which is part of the Council for the Aging in York County. This essential Service provides transportation countywide for people who need a ride to the doctor, pharmacy, grocery store, or transportation to facilities for medical treatment such as dialysis, chemotherapy, etc. More details to come asap as we work though the next steps to get the program in place Fort Mill, Tega Cay and Lake Wylie. Currently this program is in place for other parts of York County, so it is essential that the elderly and disabled in Fort Mill, Tega Cay and Lake Wylie get access to the same program. Thank you for the partnership with the leadership in each of the municipalities along with the RFAT committee, as we move forward to establish this great transportation program for the elderly and disabled in our area!
