Quick VDOT Update

Hello all,

As many of you have probably noticed, there are a few significant road improvement projects underway on our secondary roads. So I reached out to VDOT for some status/information:

  • Yorktown Road: Milling and paving have been completed. Permanent paving markings and site cleanup remain although I was not given an ETA on when that will happen. Fortunately, the most disruptive part of that project should be behind us.
  • Wolf Trap Road: Milling has been completed. Repaving has been completed up to Goodwin Neck Road with repaving planned up to Hornsbyville Road. The repaving work is targeted to be completed by the end of this week. It will also require permanent markings and cleanup.
  • Goodwin Neck Road: The centerline rumble strip is being retrofitted starting from Seaford Road.
  • Fort Eustis Blvd: Also undergoing a milling and paving operation. This is scheduled through the end of next week.

Best regards,

Stephen
