Fifth Sunday of Lent
April 3, 2022
Greetings!

These past few weeks, you have heard me speak about Lent as a time of rending and tending our hearts. It is a process of renewal of faith, a time for change that digs deep into our hearts, where God resides. It is a journey towards reconciliation. To enhance this journey, I invite you to join in our Parish Reconciliation Service on Tuesday, April 12 at 7:00pm. This is another way of preparing our hearts and lives so that we truly can celebrate the joy of Easter. Read More...

Why do we cover Crucifixes & Other Images
During the Final week of Lent?

While it may appear counterintuitive to veil statues and images during the final weeks of Lent, the Catholic Church recommends this practice to heighten our senses and build within us a longing for Easter Sunday. Read More...
PARISH NEWS
Thanks to all who have already responded with a gift to the 2022 Annual Diocesan Appeal. To date, 313 families have pledged $215,000 -- that is 71% toward our goal. There is still plenty of time to respond with a gift - they can be made through our parish office or the Diocesan website. Thank you!
Lectors Training

This ministry is open to those with a good speaking voice, a willingness to study and pray the scriptures, as well as a comfort with professing the Word before the gathered community.
Those interested are invited to RSVP to Cynthia Shaw for the upcoming training inside the church. Please email Cynthia at cynthia.k.shaw@gmail.com
Parish Office Closed
Wednesday, April 6th

The Parish office will be closed on Wednesday, April 6th for the parish staff day of prayer and recollection. The office will re-open on Thursday.
Lenten Reconciliation Service
April 12th - 7PM

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is a sacrament of healing and that is what God desires for us; to be comforted in our struggles and to find healing from our sins. If it has been a while since your last confession, remember, “Do not fear” (Is 41:10). Ask, and the priest will help guide you.

Feel free print this guide to take with you... or watch this short video (for children).
