Let's Design a Project Downtown Together

MAIN STREET EUREKA SPRINGS INVITES YOU TO: Develop a project that makes positive change downtown using the Design Thinking framework.

Your ideas and solutions are how our organization will decide what to focus our resources on. We are focusing on two areas: Pedestrian Safety + Hydration, and we KNOW you will have great ideas. Our goal is to be able to communicate that we are a walkable community.

Who is this for? Anyone with a LOVE of Downtown Eureka Springs. It's an all-ages event. You do not have to be an expert in design or community development because the process is easy to learn for anyone.

Some Tips: Bring a friend. Everything is more fun when you have a buddy. Wear walking shoes. You will be exploring the district, and you need to be able to walk with comfort. Bring a refillable water bottle. You will be using this for the session. (If you don't have one, it's fine.)

Meet at the Main Street Hub inside Main Stage at 65 N. Main

About the process: DESIGN THINKING 1.0 created the repainting of the Original Rainbow Stairs, adding a reproduction light fixture to Tibbs Alley with a decorative railing and signage. In addition, it created a facade grant, and two businesses utilized that to repaint the back of their building on Center Street. We can't wait to see what y'all dream up this time for us to make happen.
