Cancer is a life-changing experience that affects not only the person diagnosed, but also their family and friends. Whether you have lost a child to cancer, are a parent of a childhood cancer survivor, a sibling of a child diagnosed with cancer, or are a teen or young adult survivor yourself, you may face many challenges and emotions that others may not understand, but YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
There are many people in the childhood cancer community who share your journey and who have the same desire for support. That’s why we are hosting virtual support sessions for parents, siblings, and survivors of childhood cancer as part of Thrive, our new mental wellness initiative.
These support sessions are safe and confidential spaces where you can connect with others who have endured a similar situation. You can also learn coping skills, find resources, and receive encouragement from our facilitator.
