You Can't Hurry God!!! 10/22/23

Psalm 37:23-24 (KJV)

²³  The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

²⁴  Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.

True to my word, I attempt DAILY to read Psalm 37-Psalm 37 is a PALATE CLEANSER!!!

A palate cleanser is a serving of food or drink that removes food residue from the tongue allowing one to more accurately assess a new flavor. Palate cleansers are often used between tasting wine or cheese or other strong flavors.

I have been very ill now for several months-no need to elaborate-please PRAY for me.

As WE often do in THIS life, I desperately need to hear from God, and thus the comfort of the above Scriptures-I, personally. NEED to have my steps ORDERED/ORDAINED of/by God-HOW BOUT YOU????

BTW- “ORDERED” used in Psalm 37 is derived from the same Hebrew Word used in Psalm 8:

³  When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained;

The same God who ORDERS/ORDAINS the “heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars” is the same God who ORDERS/ORDAINS our steps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BUT, God's ways and God's timing is often at odds with what our ways and our timing is....................

Ya see, I want God to HEAR my PRAYER and answer me IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BUT-YOU CANNOT HURRY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YOU/ME-WE JUST HAVE TO WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WAIT is a four letter word that we Americans, especially, do not want to-NO we HATE to hear or endure-WHAT???? ME??? WAIT!!!!???????????

I began my New Year Prayer with a quote from Psalm 37:

Psalm 37:7 (KJV)

⁷  Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

SELDOM FOUND IN WOMEN-NEVER FOUND IN MAN!!!!!!!!!!”

WHEN/IF we PRAY we want God to answer IMMEDIATELY and IMMEDIATELY give us “our requests” PREFERABLY in the affirmative!!!!!! AMEN!!??

WE DO NOT WANT TO/LIKE TO WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SO..................................................................................................

IF/WHEN God does not answer in the AFFIRMATIVE IMMEDIATELY, what do WE do???????????????????????

DUH!!! WE MOVE ANYWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ideally, would it not be more beneficial IF we did this???????
