Attendant: Gurthy Moore
In November of 1992, Gurthy Moore received a worried call from her daughter Barbara. Barbara had just begun a job as caregiver to Nikita, a wonderful woman who had become ¾ paralyzed in a tragic car accident. The Greatest Gift Ever
What is the greatest gift you can give this holiday season?
Independence and Dignity
This year, help HRA to make the season a little brighter for a few families with loved ones living with long-term disabilities. Our goal is to raise $5,000 in order to provide a lifetime of care for 5 more deserving families this Christmas.

Your gift of just $25 can provide up to 6 months of care, while a $100 gift can provide over 2.5 years of care. Thanks to generous donors like you, $1,000 ensures an individual can receive care for the remainder of their life.
Become a Hero
Pledge to become a 2019 Hero of Hope and make a small commitment to make a big difference.

Through HRA's  Hero of Hope  program, your monthly gift of $40 (less than $1.34 per day) will provide up to one year of attendant care for a child or adult with a disability.

Join HRA's  Leadership Circle , and every single month, your recurring gift of $100 will provide 30 people with a month of the care they need to stay in their own homes, living full and independent lives.
