You Matter to God
I do not care who you are, what stage in your life you are in, what you do for a living, how much education you have, and I could go on and on. We all want to feel like we matter. We all want to feel like someone cares about us.
I can only imagine that one of the worst feelings to face is that you are all alone. That no one cares. I have lived such a blessed life in that I have never had to face that feeling. As I have experienced the events of the past year, I have been overwhelmed with the large number of people that have had to face life, illness, and unfortunately death alone. It breaks my heart that there are those individuals who are literally all alone. And sadly, do not know that there is one who does care and that is Jesus Christ.
I do not want to dwell on 2020 and the events or most definitely dwell on sadness but I passionately believe it is not the things in life that we experience that are important but rather the way that we deal with those experiences. Hopefully, they serve to make us stronger. They serve to make us more determined that we will do better.
So, as we look forward to the opportunities of 2021 let us make a promise right now. We are going to share the message that we matter to God. We matter so much that He knows the number of hairs on our head.
Every mission field right now where we have GB missionaries is striving to do that. Our children at Faith Home matter to God. The women and men in Honduras matter to God. The widows in India matter to God. The men and women in the villages in India matter to God. The people in Mexico and in Africa matter to God. The people in the Philippines matter to God. Saipan matters to God. And let us not neglect the people here in the United States as we work to plant new churches through National Missions matter to God.
What part can you as an individual or as a church or women’s group do to help support the effort to share that WE MATTER TO GOD.
