Proclaiming the Gospel; Equipping the Saints; Mobilizing the Church

Dear Family and Partners in our Lord Jesus,

TANZANIA

In the first week of January, we took a small team to Zanzibar and Mbeya, Tanzania, to prepare and equip churches for our outreaches at the end of summer: a Jewish special event and a Muslim special event at which we will present the Good News of the Son of God. We met with local pastors in preparation and expect many local churches to work together for the follow-up of new believers. The harvest is ripe all over the world, and we thank God for the opportunity to serve in evangelism, wherever He takes us. People need the Lord.

During this time in Tanzania, the team also assisted us in preparations for a special event for the many unsaved children in the village surrounding The Naomi Ruth Bread of Life Orphan Center in Mbeya (August 2023). Our center is in the midst of hundreds of children who need the Lord, many of whom don’t have parents.

WMO has also been invited to do a one-week Bible Teaching for pastors who are students at the neighboring Bible School in Uyole, Tanzania, when we return in August. In their systematic theology program, we will introduce the place of Israel in the Bible which will help churches understand their role in bringing the Gospel to both Jews and Gentiles (Romans 1:16).

ISRAEL

We thank God for the recent opportunity to extend His love to many as we spoke in two Russian congregations. Many were encouraged to focus on Him, and the hearts of others responded to Him for the first time after the message. We thank God for the local pastor there who will follow up with these new believers. We also had several divine appointments to share about Messiah Jesus; the Lord is opening hearts and we must keep seeking these opportunities to share.

There is a huge spiritual vacuum in the Land where religion and tradition prevail, as it is with all the Middle East and Mediterranean regions – but the Son of God is faithful to reveal Himself to those seeking truth. Darlene, myself, and our WMO board and staff are thankful to God for entrusting us to faithfully deliver the message of His Son to the world. Please take a look at the below video for an encouraging testimony! UPCOMING LATIN AMERICA OUTREACHES

What a privilege God has given us to be alive at such a time as this. We are committed to the vision and the call to bring the Gospel of Jesus and make disciples. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus (John 3:16).

God has placed a passionate love in our hearts which motivates us to lift up Jesus to the world, so that all will know Him. We are so excited to see God moving and preparing our team and local churches on the ground for the upcoming outreaches in Costa Rica (February 10-12) and Honduras (February 24-26). We trust the Lord that many will respond to His love. We are blessed to be partnering with the local churches for the discipleship of new believers.

ISRAEL TOUR (May 21-June 2)

WMO is hosting a special Israel Bible Tour with a focus on the glory of God. Israel is the land of the Bible, and the Bible comes to life as you study it in the Land. We are really excited and hope to continue these Bible teachings annually. We only have three spots available.
