March 2021
Putting safety first in the COVID-19 pandemic, the Fiesta Bowl Organization and Desert Financial Credit Union will share kindness statewide with a travelling tour called Kindness Arizona. The caravan will stop at AFFCF on March 26 with a drive-thru clothing giveaway for children in foster care.

With many schools just now reopening for in-person learning, this donation will help the Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation, along with our partners Assistance League of Phoenix and BHHS Legacy Foundation, provide children in foster care with new clothing.
CREATING WINNERS WITH TECHNOLOGY FOR GROUP HOMES

Your gift helps kids in foster care be winners through childhood activities, education and more!

SCHOLAR SPOTLIGHT: SOULEYMANE
Souleymane is a freshman at ASU studying business and is one of 69 students in the AFFCF scholarship program this semester. In his own words, he shares what drives him to earn a college degree and the impact it can have on his younger siblings:

Since I was young, we lived in a bad neighborhood and did not have much. There was a lot of negative influence all around me. I saw lots of friends fall into the wrong lifestyle and make poor decisions. Knowing that I didn't want to be part of that lifestyle and wanting more for my life, I put everything to the side and focused on what really mattered. Read more...
