It’s Black History Month
Celebrate African-American culture in art, music and more with a Westchester getaway during Black History Month. Create portraits of black historical figures at Hudson River Museum’s Print Workshop on February 15, then catch the famous Harlem Gospel Choir that evening at Westchester Community College. Head Out for a Sweet Treat
It’s maple sugaring season, and local sugarhouses will host demos and tastings of the sweet stuff during Westchester Area Maple Open House Weekend, February 29 and March 1. You can work off the sugar high with a winter hike on one of Westchester’s many scenic trails.
