Harbour Photography Contest

• VEHS is looking for the best pictures exemplifying or highlighting the Victoria/Esquimalt working harbours.
• Open to anyone.
• Entries welcome under one of the themes of

1. Harbour Business (Victoria or Esquimalt Harbours)
2. Harbour People
3. Harbour Nature
4. Ocean (Canadian Salish Sea near Greater Victoria)
5. Ocean Nature
6. Harbour and Sky
7. Youth (16 and under)

PRIZES PRIZES PRIZES

• Photographer of best picture in each theme to receive C$40.00
• Top three pictures overall to receive:

First Prize

FRS Clipper round trip for two between Victoria and Seattle.

Second Prize

Eagle Wind Tours whale watching tours for two adults.

Third Prize

Black Ball Ferry Line round trip between Victoria and Port Angeles for two adults and one vehicle.

Contest submission deadline midnight September 30, 2024.

Entrants agree to provide to VEHS an unlimited non-transferable license for reproduction and use of submitted images, with photo credit to the photographer.

Make submissions of images by e-mail in BMP, GIF, TIFF, or JPEG formats with theme identified by the entrant, location of picture, and including photographer's name, to:

by September 30, 2024.

All decisions of the judges are final. No member of the Board of VEHS is eligible to enter.

Awarded travel/tour prizes must be booked and completed by September 30, 2025.
