Effective at December 31, 2017, Jack retired from public accounting and as tax partner from the Denver office of Anton Collins Mitchell LLP ("ACM"), a full service public accounting firm of 33 partners/directors and over 170+ employees. ACM is a client focused, results driven firm that emphasizes a Life+Work integration for all of its people. ACM has offices in Denver, Boulder, Northern Colorado and Laramie, Wyoming.
Jack has over 30 years of experience in the practice of public accounting, including an international C-corporation focus. He joined Anton Collins Mitchell in January 2007 after serving for about 5 years as a professional director on corporate boards and as the CFO/COO of a group of marketing and advertising/sales companies. Previously, was the shareholder in charge of tax services at the CPA firm of Levine Hughes & Mithuen (about 13 years) and prior to that was the founder and managing shareholder of Allgood & Company (about 13 years). Jack's current focus as managing member of Allgood LLC is to share his knowledge and experiences by serving as a professional, independent director on corporate boards.
Jack takes an active role in the organizations that shape the accounting industry. For the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (COCPA), he has served as chairman of the Continuing Professional Education Board, chairman of the Continuing Professional Education Curriculum Committee, a member of the Board of Directors and on various other committees. He currently serves on the Editorial Board.
