Our Featured Speaker:  

Carol Porter leads end-to-end value consulting engagements with senior business and IT stakeholders to discover and quantify value realized from business solutions. She delivers strategic guidance to executive leadership to demonstrate and achieve value from technology investments. She is formerly a Business Value consultant with Workday and Oracle Corporation, two companies that have transformed value management into the globally dominate model for supporting the decisions to invest in technology solutions. While consulting with companies of various sizes across a wide swath of industries, Carol has developed invaluable insight into how companies succeed, and fall short, of realizing the value potential of a software investment. She provides guidance into developing and leveraging KPIs that demonstrate ongoing value realized and how to consider a vendor prepared business case before making a financial and resource commitment. Ms. Porter passed the CPA exam in Texas, and earned her BA in Accounting at the Daniels School of Business. Her business experience includes SaaS, project management, international expansion, accounting operations and FP&A.

Following a continental breakfast, which allows time to network with other finance and accounting managers and executives, we move on to a roundtable presentation and discussion.
