About Carol
When her children were small, there was no single medium of art that could contain Carol's art inspiration. Carol was a children's book illustrator, wall mural painter, stationary designer, magazine artist, and award winning art director in advertising. Now that her children are grown, she has returned to her roots, experimenting with photography as fine art.
The Mandala - Unity and Harmony
This collection features photographs taken during her travels throughout the United States and abroad. She takes her photos and manipulates them to create a circular pattern that both transforms the image and references a mandala, an ancient Hindu and Buddhist symbol that represents unity and harmony.
