Disabled Veterans Sailing Excursion takes the scenic route around the Bay

Dear Disabled Veteran,

Team Paradise is pleased to invite you to a soothing and relaxing sailing experience on Biscayne Bay, allowing you to unplug and reconnect with nature and with yourself!

Team Paradise is a truly unique sailing organization that gives the disabled community an opportunity to sail at all levels of expertise. No disability is severe enough to prevent sailing with us. Wheelchair bound or not, our boats are customized and adapted to match the abilities of the crew.

Team Paradise has a program for everyone, whether you want to compete in racing, take sailing lessons, or simply go for a recreational sail. All events are pre-paid for by grants and donations and they are free to you:) No sailing skills are required to become involved. Pick whatever dates that works best for you from the Event Calendar below and please let us know. Here is how:

Sailing Excursion 11AM- to 2PM

January 10, 17 and 31. February 7, 14, 21 and 28. March 14, 21 and 28 April 4, 11, 18 and 25. May 2, 9, 16 and 23

Basic Keelboat Certification day 1 and 2 of the 4-day course. From 9AM to 4PM

January 13-14, February 10-11, March 17-18, April 7-8 and May 5-6

Basic Keelboat Certification day 3 and 4 of the 4-day course. From 9AM to 4PM

February 24-25, March 24-25, April 28-29 and May 12-13. Basic Keelboat 4-day (28-hours) of combined Classroom and on-the-water instructions. Exam includes written and practical test.

Performance Sailing & Spinnaker Endorsement From 10AM to 4PM

January 15-16 and 18-19, February 5-6 and 8-9, March 19-20 and 22-23, April 16-17 and 19-20, May 14-15 and 17-18 Exam includes written and practical test.
