“You are my Son, the Beloved; with you I am well pleased.”

Mark 1:11

These words came as a voice from heaven at the moment that Jesus was baptized. God declared, without any question, absolute love and complete satisfaction with the Beloved.

Hear this today - God feels the same about you. You are God's child, God's Beloved, and with you God is well-pleased. No matter what your past looks like. No matter what your future prospects are. No matter how "good" you've been, or how far from God you might feel in this moment. You are beloved to God.

We welcome you at FCC in the same way - no matter who you are, or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here.
