Stumped for a holiday gift?

The Friends of the Libraries of Woodbridge Township organization has a suggestion for you. Adopt a Book!

The Friends of the Libraries run an Adopt-a-Book program to help increase the stock of books in our local libraries. To participate, simply donate at least $25.00 to "adopt" a book that will be purchased for the age group and branch library you choose.

Each adopted book will carry a specially inscribed bookplate thanking the donor. Memorial inscriptions can be included at the donor's request.
Adopt-a-book forms are available at all Woodbridge Libraries. Please take one and help support this important program, or visit the Woodbridge Library website here to print a form and mail it. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Visit the Main Library for your next culture pass, courtesy of the Friends of the Library. Most Museum Passes circulate like a book for five days. Check our new catalog for availability of passes.

Volunteer Hours for
Young Adult Book Reviews

You asked, we listened. For those in need of more community service hours, you now have another option! Here’s how it works:

  • You read a book at least 100 pages in length.
  • You fill out the form we provide in the library, which includes information about the book, and a 1.5-page review (I.e., Half of the front and the entire back of the page) of the book.
  • Turn the form in--we give you one hour of community service for every 100 pages read. So if you read a 374-page book, you get three hours.

That’s it. It’s easy!
Many of our programs do not require registration, but kindly click on the flyers and links to register for programs on-line or call the library locations to ensure that space is available.
