The past month has been challenging, no matter if you are working, trying to work, trying to homeschool while working, or any other number of stressful situations. There was a Bloomberg article last week about U.S. household debt reaching record levels. There have been other reports and articles showing that 9 out of 10 Americans are experiencing financial stress right now. However, even in difficult times, it still often feels like we are alone and the only ones struggling. This is especially true when it is so hard to physically connect with people.
So, this month’s newsletter is dedicated to awareness. Finances are very emotional. We often do irrational things because we think it’s the right move, but the decision was based on stress and not information. It is also really easy to get overloaded with 24/7 news and social media. I encourage you (and myself) to step back and talk to people you trust before making big decisions.
Remember, none of us are alone.
Thank you for reading and please feel free to forward our newsletter to any friends, colleagues, or family members who may be interested in learning more about debt, credit, and solutions to financial stress.
