2024 INFECTION CONTROL GOALS:


  • Influenza vaccination of employeesIncrease the percentage of staff vaccinated from 72% to 76% by 12/31/2024. 
  • Epidemic (naturally occurring) – Develop educational material/course about Measles to share with all staff to be completed before 12/31/24 
  • Blood/body fluid exposure (staff) – Decrease the number of needle-stick incidents from 9 to 5 or less by 12/31/2024.
  • Hand hygiene monitoring – Achieve a 100% compliance on monthly Hand washing audits completed across all centers by 12/31/24. 
  • Standard/Isolation precautions – Maintain at least a 3 month supply of PPE (masks, gloves, gowns) in warehouse throughout the 2024 calendar year. 
  • Infections caused by instruments/procedures (sterilization) – Maintain sterilization competency in 100% of the clinical support staff at dental and OB offices through 12/31/24. 

STRENGTHENING BLACK MATERNAL HEALTH



Strengthening Black maternal health is an urgent and crucial mission that requires collective action and systemic change.


Black mothers face disproportionately high rates of maternal mortality and morbidity, highlighting deep-rooted disparities in healthcare access and quality. To address this issue effectively, it is essential to prioritize equity in healthcare delivery, advocate for culturally competent care, and invest in black mothers throughout pregnancy and post partum.
