A: We are seeing huge progress in range, performance, and style with the introduction of each new electric vehicle. Q: What is going on with vehicle availability and this chip shortage?
A: If you’ve turned on the news or picked up a newspaper (yes, I personally read the newspaper every day) you have seen something about auto manufacturers and production delays. This has plagued the auto industry entirely. The chip shortage is a major problem that we don’t yet have resolution to. Dealers are not receiving additional vehicles from the factories which is making inventory levels scarce in some places. I have started seeing situations where clients will change their mind on color or a specific option package, just to ensure they can buy a vehicle now when they want it. This is something we haven’t experienced before, so we are learning and navigating as we go.
