April is Fair Housing Month.

Homelessness in Morris County is both chronic and, for many, happening for the first time.

That's why our work focuses on both prevention and lasting stability.

Give the Gift of Summer

For many children experiencing housing instability, summer opportunities like camp are out of reach. While most funding supports basic needs, experiences like this— friendship, exploration, and time to just be a kid—are often left behind.

Thanks to flexible support from our community, we have been able to provide "camperships" that open the door to day camps, and even sleepaway camps— complete with trips to the beach, the zoo, museums, and more.

For Wanda*, a single mother, this support was life-changing. She was able to send her two children to sleepaway camp for the first time. They built confidence, made new friends, and discovered new interests— while Wanda gained something meaningful: time to rest and recharge, knowing her children were safe and thriving. Today, one of her children is preparing to become a camp counselor.

This summer, we're hoping to do it again.

With your support, we aim to fund camp experiences for at least 10 children.

Your gift can make a direct impact:

  • $100 helps cover field trips and activities
  • $500 supports a week of day camp
  • $1,000 can fund a full camp experience

Thank you for supporting moments of growth, relief, and joy for both children and parents.

A small note, a big reminder of what your support makes possible.

Community Partner Spotlight

Thank you, Thrift Barns of Morris County, for your support and partnership!

Through their volunteer-run Book Barn and Bargain Barn—offering donated books, clothing, and household items—every purchase, donation, and visit supports local charities.

We’re so grateful for this generous gift and for all the ways our community helps create moments like this for families working toward safe, stable housing.

Volunteers are at the core of our mission. Time and again, individuals and groups show up with compassion and commitment, playing a meaningful role in supporting families working toward stable housing.

From organizing essential donations to supporting programs and helping create welcoming, supportive environments, their contributions make a lasting impact.

Because of our volunteers, families feel supported, valued, and empowered on their journey toward stability.

We are deeply grateful for each and every volunteer who makes this work possible.

We were proud to sponsor the 20th Annual Nonprofit Conference & Excellence Awards hosted by the Morris County Chamber of Commerce. It was a great opportunity to connect with fellow organizations and share more about how we support families on their path to stable housing. Congratulations to the honorees!

Get Involved This Spring

Looking for a meaningful (and flexible!) way to support families and individuals in our programs? Here are a few ways you or your group can make an impact:

Host a Collection for our Spring Refresh Event (May 14)

Help us gather essential items for this special event. You can also volunteer the evening of from 5–8 PM.

Organize a Bedding Drive

Support our current priority need for new bedding items to help create comfortable, welcoming spaces for families.

Support Transportation Needs

Access to reliable transportation remains a major barrier for many of the individuals we serve. Donations of gas or Uber gift cards help ensure participants can attend job training programs, including classes at County College of Morris.

Every effort helps bring comfort, dignity, and stability to those we serve. If you’re interested in getting involved, we’d love to connect and help you get started.

Thank you to Ope Bakare at L’Oréal for this incredible donation of personal care items in support of our Spring Refresh event!
