What are you liking about Jesus so far?
We’re nearing the end of our sermon series, “Come and See,” based on the TV show, “The Chosen.” It’s been powerful seeing Christ with a fresh set of eyes, hasn’t it? We may have known Jesus as a compassionate man, but his healing and forgiveness last week were truly touching. And we believe Jesus was kind, but hasn’t it been great seeing him with his friends and meeting strangers? We are rooting for everyone to follow him!
This week we will see Christ more closely with two of the main characters: Nicodemus and Matthew. Two relatively wealthy and intelligent men, both Matthew and Nicodemus have been amazed by what they’ve seen Jesus do and intrigued by his way of life. What will happen when Christ calls them each by name? Will they leave their lives behind to follow?
We hope you’ll join us for “Strong Foundation.” It may seem scary to give up everything for Christ, but when we know the man who calls us and believe his way is good, we can step out in confidence and expect great things.
