Help underwrite high school and college-aged seasonal employees
Lakeside would not be what it is today without its volunteers, full-time staff and seasonal employees.
Due to COVID-19-related budget cuts, Lakeside is not able to hire many of our vital high school and college-aged seasonal employees. Roughly 60 high school and college students will be employed this Chautauqua season to help support their education and associated expenses.

Ashley Huntington, a recent graduate of Hamilton College in New York, is a passionate Lakesider and seasonal employee at the Lakeside Chautauqua Foundation Office.
“Through my internship I learned valuable skills in communication, problem-solving, and collaboration, and helped celebrate and strengthen the Lakeside community," said Ashley. "Whether I was preparing for events, entering data or answering Lakesiders' questions, I was grateful for the opportunity to utilize and develop knowledge gained through my coursework in a real-world setting."
