August 2017 eNewsletter
Welcome to a new school year...
we're glad you have chosen ELCA and Kingdom Education for your child.
The theme for the 2017-2018 school year is Building Foundations.

Through rigorous academics, award-winning fine arts, championship-caliber athletics m erged with highly qualified, passionate teachers who teach every discipline with a biblical worldview, you have an overall program that sets each student on a path to accomplishment and victory…not only into the college years, but for eternity.

" According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it. For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. ~1 Corinthians 3:10-11
Are you ALL IN?

Get ready for our ALL IN in 10 ELCA Fund Campaign Blitz!

August 14 - 25

Each year we ask that each of our families prayerfully consider a donation to the ELCA Fund.  Every gift truly does count! All funds make a direct impact into the lives of our students by providing that "little extra" that enhances their education experience. An increasing parent participation percentage is critical for our school to get the opportunity to receive potential grants from outside foundations and organizations. We are proud to say that our parent participation percentage has risen from 8% just a few years ago to over 52% last year.

Let's surpass that figure in 2017-2018!

FABULOUS FINE ARTS
The Mighty Charger Marching Band
is in full swing with a new show and new uniforms for the season!

The winning teams of this years band camp elected to "glitter" Mr. Sosebee's beard and pie drum major, Javien Moore, in the face. The two-week summer band camp is always intense with learning the fundamentals of the marching technique and beginning to apply that to a brand new show.

The students are excited to be getting new uniforms. The new uniforms will debut in our first regular season home game, August 18th vs. Eagle's Landing High School.

This year, the band is partnering with Gigi's House to raise awareness and necessities for them through our marching band season. To partner with us, please email the Director of Bands, Brandon Sosebee
