For 28 years, Housing Unlimited has provided affordable, independent housing for adults in mental health recovery in Montgomery County. We promote independence and recovery by providing an affordable and comfortable home. With the peace of mind of knowing that their housing is secure, our tenants can focus on their health, employment, education, and other life goals and aspirations.
We provide shared housing: Three-bedroom townhouses and two-bedroom condominiums. We rent our houses to tenants at affordable rates that are capped to encourage employment while still maintaining a sense a security. HUI’s Extra-Measure Property Management Program provides education and training to Housing Unlimited tenants regarding critical steps that tenants must take to maintain their housing. Thanks to supporters like you, we currently have 86 homes, providing stability to 230+ tenants throughout Montgomery County, Maryland.
Housing Unlimited must continue to acquire new homes to meet the needs of adults in mental health recovery who are seeking a permanent, affordable, and independent place to live. This year, with your help, we plan to expand our operations, including the purchase of FOUR NEW HOMES!
When YOU donate to Housing Unlimited, individuals get and keep housing, stay healthy and forge meaningful relationships with their housemates, co-workers and neighbors.
