October 18-19 Halloween Clash Coles County Speedway Race

• Located at 10743 E. County Rd. 900 North in Mattoon, the Speedway is open 2pm-11pm each night for the Halloween Clash.

October 19 Coles County Memorial Airport Young Eagles, free flights for kids, 9:30-11:30am

October 19 Fall Market at Warren James Winery, 1-5pm

• Shopping starts at 1pm, Live Music 2:30pm - 5:30pm, and Halloween Themed Trivia at 6pm. There will be pumpkin painting, caramel apple bar, walking trails, apple cider slushies, and more. Warren James Winery is located at 5600 Lerna Rd. Mattoon.

October 19 Nightmare on 19th St., Omega Nu- Epsilon Sigma Alpha Chapter, Fundraiser

• This event is to benefit for Camp New Hope, One Stop Community Christmas, Special Olympics, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and other charities. Participating Bars are the American Legion, VFW, Spanky's, Eagles, Rookies & The Castle. Check-in at American Legion begins at 5:30. Tickets are $20 in advance/$25 at the door. The Monster Mash at the American Legion will begin at 9 pm. There will also be auction items and a cash bar. A celebrity judge will hand out prizes for the best costumes.
