Effective December 1, 2014, the Brockton Trial Court Complex, located at 215 Main Street, Brockton, has instituted the following cell phone policy:

Cell phones and cameras (including cameras contained within computer tablets or other personal electronic devices) will not be permitted into the courthouse. Court employees, law enforcement personnel, attorneys, and summonsed jurors are exempt from this policy.

Drivers beware! A new Massachusetts law mandates a vehicle's headlights be on "when the vehicle's windshield wipers are needed." Rain, drizzle, and snow all require headlights be in use. This is a surchargeable minor motor vehicle offense. Failure to comply with this law may result in a ticket being issued, and a surcharge assessed against you.  Headlights must also be on one-half hour before sunset and one-half hour after sunrise.  So get those headlights on!
