YOU help them keep on going!

We are so proud of our young scientists and their determination these past few challenging months. From virtual clubs to mentoring sessions, the SCFG community has come together to ensure girls continue learning, supporting each other, and accessing opportunities to succeed in STEM and beyond.

This would not be possible without you! Please donate today to show your support of these future scientists and problem-solvers who will make our world a brighter, more equitable, and more inspiring place.

We have only $8,669 left to raise to reach our goal of $25,000! Your support will ensure more girls receive high-quality, hands-on virtual programming to become the next generation of diverse women scientists. Thank you!
“I love science because it is so mysterious. I feel like I could be a scientist because there are sooo many problems to solve. Like, I always ask myself if there is life on other planets, or if there are more pandemics that might come and how to solve coronavirus.” - Cecelia
Summer Rocket Program Getting Ready for Lift Off!

Our two-week VIRTUAL Summer Rocketry Program is preparing for take off next week on Monday, July 6th! We've had an incredible response with twenty-one participants signed up, many who came to our office yesterday to pick up their supplies. We are so excited to engage with these soon-to-be rocket scientists, who will build, design, and launch their rockets with in-person, socially-distant launches. Help them get ready to blast off by making a donation today!
Congratulations, Junior Mentors!

This month we are proud to celebrate the accomplishments of our graduating Junior Mentors, who serve as influential leaders and role models for our younger scientists.

Please join us in congratulating and thanking Crystal, Anna, Minh, and Heather!

"My 8 (almost 9) years at SCFG have been absolutely amazing. I could not have achieved as much as I have without the unconditional support. I will have to come back one day to be a mentor. Thank you!" - Crystal

About Science Club for Girls
SCFG fosters excitement, confidence and literacy in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics for girls from underrepresented communities by providing free, experiential programs. With women making up less than 24 percent of the STEM workforce—and Black and Hispanic women at less than four percent—SCFG addresses a critical need, offering a continuum of engaging activities in STEM for K-8 girls, leadership experiences for high school girls, and adult mentoring by committed women in STEM.

You make this work possible!
