Greetings!

This September, Missionary Ventures is sending a team to Uruguay — and we want you to know why it matters.

45% of Uruguayans hold no religious beliefs

Uruguay is the most secular country in the Americas, with one

of the lowest concentrations of Christians of any nation in the region.

And yet God is moving there. A Peruvian missionary, Gustavo Huamani, and his family, left everything to serve in Uruguay with one vision: to go to the unreached, open churches in homes, and make disciples where almost none exist.

Our team will go to stand with them. We'll encourage local churches and believers, help with outreach and evangelism, pray with people seeking hope, and experience firsthand what God is doing in one of the world's most secular nations.

We are missionaries in the country of Uruguay, where I have the vision of going to the villages and opening churches in the houses, through discipleship. We desire to fulfill God's command.

— Gustavo Huamani, MV Missionary in Uruguay
