"Experience the Bounty of the County"

Kate

Join us for a celebration of Goshen's great farms and farmers! Bring your whole family for a free tour exploring the thirteen farms that call Goshen home. Whether you visit just one of the highlighted farms, or all thirteen of them, it's sure to be a fun and educational experience for all!

The mission of the Goshen Agriculture Council is to promote agriculture in Goshen and to educate our community about the importance of preserving and protecting the remaining food producing land in this beautiful area.

Goshen, aptly named "The Land of Milk & Honey," is home to a varied farming and agricultural community, with farmers specializing in everything from blueberries, grapes, and honey, to goats, pigs, and Texas Longhorns. The farmers look forward to sharing with you what they do and how they do it!

Here at Thorncrest Farm:

Saturday at 1:30pm, join Clint & Garret in the barn for a Milking Demonstration, then head upstairs to the hayloft while Kimberly demonstrates how to make Butter!

Sunday at 2pm, Lyndon will be hosting a demonstration on the Wood Mill (fun fact: it's the very mill that Lyndon used to mill all the wood used to side our barn!)

All day Saturday & Sunday you can enjoy a cheese tasting donated by Cabot Cheese. Thank you to all the Cabot Farm Families and their wonderful cows for this delicious cheese! Our antique tractors and farm implements will be on display as well.

Dan's Roadhouse Country band will be playing Saturday & Sunday starting at 11am.

We would like to thank
