Dear WJC Family,

Tami and I want to share some information about this upcoming weekend when we celebrate Simeon becoming a bar mitzvah. Under normal circumstances we would have loved for you to be at the synagogue with us and to all celebrate together at a Kiddish Luncheon. Unfortunately, anything like that will have to wait, but we would still love for you to join us virtually and share this special moment in Simeon’s life and in the life of our family.

Here is the schedule of events and information on how to “attend:"
Friday
4:30pm

Shabbat evening services (Kabbalat Shabbat and Ma'ariv) with a minyan of our family members via the Westchester Jewish Center Live Stream. https://www.wjcenter.org/wjclive/

Tami will be leading Kabbalat Shabbat, which is always a treat and this will be her opportunity to address Simeon.

As always, the Live Stream will be running from before Shabbat starts. For instructions on how to log in before Shabbat to avoid violations of Shabbat practice, see here. If set up properly, there should be no need to touch your computer on Shabbat itself.
Saturday
10:00am

The Shabbat morning WJC Live Stream service begins with a minyan at the Torah Service. https://www.wjcenter.org/wjclive/

We encourage you to daven Shacharit on your own beforehand or with the WJC clergy on the Live Stream starting at 9:15am. Attached is a guide for the Saturday morning service that gives explanations and provides information about the service and those participating.

We hope you’ll find a nice, peaceful place from which to watch the Live Stream and we hope you participate along with us from home—go ahead and sing out!
Sunday
1:00 - 2:00pm

We will be hosting a Drop-In Zoom gathering. This is an opportunity to speak with Simeon directly since the Shabbat services are Live Streamed and don’t allow for guest interaction.

Feel free to pop into the zoom anytime in that hour to wish Simmy a “Mazal tov” in person.
