The Ann W. and Spencer T. Olin–Chancellor's Fellowship is excited to host the 2023 She Leads Symposium @ WashU, continuing our tradition of curating a forum that enables and empowers women to lead in the 21st century. This will take place on Friday, October 20, 2023. We have a fantastic line-up of speakers and sessions and invite you to be a part of this engaging program!

Karl King Hoagland, Jr. Keynote Speaker: Meet Tatum Getty (WashU '04), who has helped shape the health and wellness sector in both the USA and the UK through marketing, public relations, sales, and brand management positions with companies such as SoulCycle, Barry’s Bootcamp, and Tonal. Today she is an investor, having co-founded the venture capital fund THENA Capital, which is focused on early stage medical technology investments.


Alongside this, Tatum and her team founded a healthcare-focused community, the Future of HealthTech Hub, bringing together industry leaders committed to transformative impact. She is passionate about health equity – with a particular interest in women’s health and reducing the gender healthcare gap. As a board member and executive leader, she has successfully expanded and globalized pivotal health businesses.


As an MBA-holding former competitive U.S. figure skater, she believes that creativity, collaboration, and communities are the main contributors to her success.

Early Composing a Life Panel where you'll hear from inspiring, successful, and diverse women panelists who share and discuss how they have combined career, personal life, and other interests beyond graduation.
