Employee-led Workplace Innovation:

From Goals to Game Plans

Hello Lori-Ann,

Are you looking for innovative workplace solutions to inspire your team? Attend this free virtual event and future in-person workshop with our expert panel!

Employee-led Workplace Innovation: From Goals to Game Plans is a series of three activities for sector associations, government and other employers in Newfoundland and Labrador to learn from experts about how other leading-edge workplaces are developing employee-led workplace innovation.

We’ll share best-in-class Canadian demonstration cases and discuss how you can work further with the NL Workforce Innovation Centre (NLWIC) and our pan-Canadian research project partners to explore adaptation of employee-led workplace innovation models within your organization.

  1. Online “Taster Menu” Sessions – Using examples of research insights and exemplary practices, learn why your team should take part in our On-Site Workshop and how to prepare so we can target your workplace innovation needs: November 28 3-3:30 p.m. OR November 29 11-11:30 a.m.
  2. On-Site Workshop – Our expert team will provide resources and coaching to help you identify priorities, set goals and make plans to enrich your organization’s workplace innovation: December 8, St. John's, NL.
  3. Follow-up collaboration with our Expert Team – Includes follow-up consulting with select teams to create scenario prototypes to inspire others on their workplace innovation journey.

NLWIC, in collaboration with the Workplace Innovation Network for Canada, WEtech Alliance and Future Skills Centre, aim to support regional employers in becoming more strategic about employee-led workplace innovation. Join us for this event series as we strive to innovate workplace development in our province and beyond.

Established in 2017 by the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador and administered by College of the North Atlantic, NL Workforce Innovation Centre (NLWIC) has a provincial mandate to provide a coordinated, central point of access to engage all labour market stakeholders about challenges, opportunities and best practices in workforce development.

NLWIC’s goal is to promote the research, testing and sharing of ideas and models of innovation in workforce development that will positively impact employability, employment and entrepreneurship within the province’s labour force and particularly underrepresented groups. Funding for NLWIC is provided by the Department of Immigration, Population Growth and Skills (IPGS) under the Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Labour Market Development Agreement.
