Free Sea Level Rise Open House
with Commissioner
Daniella Levine Cava on July 24
Miami-Dade County Commissioner Daniella Levine Cava, District 8, invites you to attend a free sea level rise open house workshop with the Miami-Dade County Office of Resilience at the Deering Estate on July 24 to discuss how to address sea level rise in our community.

Commissioner Levine Cava will give opening remarks and the open-house will follow.

By 2060 we expect sea levels to be approximately two feet higher than they are today. We are asking for your input on how you would like to see your community adapt to accommodate more water over the next 40 years. Maps and illustrations of potential adaptation approaches will be on display, and we will have many technical experts on hand to answer any of your questions. We want to hear from you!
