Our Tree Ambassador Program has launched!

City Plants is partnering with LADWP, the Koreatown Youth and Community Center, LA Conservation Corps, Climate Resolve, TreePeople, the California Climate Action Corps, and others to launch a new, 9-month community organizing program to support residents in amplifying the voices of their communities, plant trees in their neighborhoods, and keep their communities cool!

The goal of the Tree Ambassador Program is to create a trained group of community members that can build connections with and amplify the voices of their communities to plant more trees.

Ambassadors had their first of ten training sessions this past weekend. where they were introduced to urban forestry and what it means to be a Tree Ambassador. We are so excited to join them on their journeys as change-makers and leaders in their communities!
