You're Invited: Kindergarten Open House

At Hillcrest Christian School, our mission is to raise up the next generation to impact the world for Jesus Christ. Kindergarten is a pivotal season, as students grow academically, socially, and spiritually through literacy, math, creative projects, Bible study, and relationship-building. All learning happens in a Christ-centered environment where confidence, curiosity, and character flourish.

Kindergarten Open House on Tuesday, January 27th is designed to give prospective families an authentic look at Kindergarten. This experience goes beyond a campus tour and allows parents to step into the daily rhythms of Kindergarten life while gaining insight into our academic program, spiritual formation, and community culture.

During the morning, parents will tour classrooms and learning spaces, meet Kindergarten teachers and specialists, and see teaching and learning in action. Parents will have the opportunity to watch a sample lesson and classroom activities that showcase the way we nurture curiosity, love of learning, and faith formation. Parents will hear from Hillcrest leadership about our Kindergarten program, daily routines, electives, and the intentional ways we partner with families to support students academically, socially, and spiritually.

There will be time for questions and conversation so that you leave informed, encouraged, and confident as you consider Kindergarten at Hillcrest Christian School.

This event is designed for adults only to explore our program and ask questions.

During the Open House, you will:

• Observe our Kindergarten teachers in action and see how students engage with language arts, math, Bible, and creative projects.
• Learn about our daily routines, elective offerings, and how we guide students through key milestones like learning to read, while nurturing a lifelong love of learning.
• Hear about our Christ-centered curriculum, weekly chapel, Bible Buddies, and the ways we nurture character and confidence.
• Hear from me on how we support your child’s academic, social, and spiritual growth.
• Participate in a question and answer session with me and our administration.
• You may also take a personal tour of our campus after the event.
