A challenge from Joy:
With the devastation of Hurricane Harvey and Irma it has been brought to my attention that as a professional in the beauty and salon industry who still has a building and business to walk into every day, there are hundreds of thousands professionals who have either lost their homes, their salon buildings as well as their businesses meaning the customers who now may be unable to frequent these salons;  who quite frankly are the heartbeat of these businesses and the livelihood of these professionals. It may be quite some time before these professionals will be able to return to work and even when they do it can be awhile before they are able to realize the income that supports themselves and their families because of the customers inability to return to their salon because of their own devastating circumstances.
I challenge all local, area salons and Beauty Professionals to join us on September 28, 2017 and donate part of your day’s service income to the PBA Disaster Relief Fund. (The Professional Beauty Association)
100% of all Disaster Relief funds raised go directly to beauty industry professionals affected by natural disasters. The PBA Disaster Relief Fund is a program of the PBA Foundation, a 501 © (3) charitable organization.
Donations made to the PBA Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by U.S. law.
