Join us for Shir Tikvah's Annual Spring Event
Sunday May 2
Featuring a moth-style storytelling event:
It Saved My Life: A Jewish Story

Dear Shir Tikvah,
Throughout the generations, no matter the hardships we've faced, the Pharaohs we've confronted, or the spiritual trauma we've endured, the Jewish people have always clung to a vision of hope that the future would be better. In that spirit, we believe we must celebrate our traditions, our people, and our vision for a world of decency and dignity.
2021/5781 is no different. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of us, closing our building and forcing us to social distance. So we stepped up. We gathered virtually. We taught. We continued to speak out for justice. This was only possible with your gifts toward our annual event last year. And so as we announce this year's event, we again ask you to give, and give generously, as our work - to bring forth an inspiring song of hope in the world - is needed now more than ever.

Our hour-long celebration on zoom will feature a moth-style storytelling event:
It Saved My Life: A Jewish Story, with MC Allison Broeren.

We're also thrilled to announce this year's honor recipients:

Shir Tikvah Visionary Leadership Award
Faculty of the Jewish Academy of Moral Imagination, and
Design and Dream Team Co-Chairs on behalf of the Team

Jim and Andrea Rubenstein Radical Hospitality Award
Member Gayle Zoffer

Plese join us as we honor their amazing contributions at this year's celebration.

What we ask of you:

Please join us on zoom on May 2 at 5 p.m. to celebrate our Shir Tikvah community. All are welcome.RSVP Here.

Give generously, as you are able. You can make your gift online here, or mail a check to Shir Tikvah with "spring event" in the memo line. Our annual goal is $45,000, and we've secured a match gift of $5,000!
Our ancestors wandered in the wilderness for 40 years, yet they always found time to celebrate their community. We are the inheritors of their legacy. Join us as we celebrate all that Shir Tikvah has been, is, and will continue to be in the days and years ahead.
