You're invited to Sierra WordFest 2026, a celebration of storytelling, creativity, and community—bringing together writers, readers, and lovers of words from across the region.

Workshops, talks, and activities will take place in multiple locations:

• Rocklin & Truckee Campuses: March 4–5, 2026
• Grass Valley Campus: Saturday, March 7, 2026
• In person | 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

This year’s festival theme is The Power of Place, exploring how setting shapes story, voice, and imagination.

We’re especially excited to welcome our Special Guest (pictured right): Daniel Handler (aka Lemony Snicket), who will join us for an unforgettable day of insight, inspiration, and conversation.
