It's Time To Talk About Growing
Believe it or not, in the midst of all of the craziness and political upheaval, there are beautiful things happening in the world every single day. For starters, you are alive. You're still here. As the church mothers used to say, "The blood is yet running warm through your veins." Then, you are loved. I don't know about you, but there is something really beautiful about being loved and being able to love. Then, this wonderful woman put out this super inspiring book titled When We Grow, and in the next two weeks she's hosting a LIVE virtual book discussion series that you are invited to. How's that for something beautiful?!
Having written and published several books for myself as well as for others, the question for me is always: does this book's content have the capacity to inspire positive change or reflective thought? Yes, it matters to authors that their book matter to readers. Authors care about impact and to this end I am excited about going chapter by chapter with you to read and discuss When We Grow.
In preparation for our time together, there are a few things to know and/or do:
If you haven't already done so, purchase When We Grow today so you'll be ready.
- Begin reading so that you are able to thoughtfully engage in the discussion.
- Jot your questions or comments down so you'll remember them when we meet.
- Encourage friends or family members to join you so that you all can grow together.
- Register early. The registration links are below. There are two links. One is for the Tuesday discussions and the other is for the Thursday discussions. I figured the less links, the better.
Please know that I am so grateful for those of you who have purchased 1, 3, and 5 copies of When We Grow. I am also grateful for those of you who have accommodated my request for pictures and your thoughts as I seek to expand this When We Grow community. My heart is warmed by your love and kindness. That said, we have a conversation to get ready for, so secure your spot. Although it would be ideal for you to participate in the entire series, feel free to join us as your schedule permits.
