Bear in MIND

Dear Fellow Alum,

Happy Homecoming!

As Chairman of the Board of Visitors for the Morgan State University School of Global Journalism and Communication (SGJC), my goal is to encourage, recruit and invite all communication, media, production, and journalism graduates of Morgan to support our Dean's vision for SGJC.

Journalism plays an integral role in preserving our democracy. The need for journalists and "truth tellers" has never been more clear. SGJC needs our support and help to expand its important work in developing the next generation of media professionals and journalists.

We need to hear from you!

Please email me at tmitchell@mpt.org with any ideas you may have about how SGJC can support you and our students better.

As the year is coming to a close, I would ask that you keep SGJC in mind for your year-end giving. I am encouraging ALL communications graduates to help us ensure that assistance will be available when students need it. Scan the QR Code below to learn more.

I hope you are able to join us on Friday to "share your story" with our students about your professional journey (CLICK HERE TO RSVP). If your not able to attend, please make sure to get in touch with me. I want to make sure to personally keep you updated on our progress.

Stay tuned for more information!

With appreciation,
