Join us for the Class of 2026 Senior Thesis Presentations!

Fairytales, art therapy, martyrdom, and more — our seniors are tackling challenging topics that span culture, education, and faith. Come and witness the depth and breadth of their learning as they showcase the culmination of their Mars Hill Academy education during the annual Senior Thesis presentations May 12-13.

Senior Thesis is the capstone of the classical, Christian educational experience at Mars Hill. After researching a topic of interest, students argue for a position in an in-depth written paper and present their work in a speech before an audience of peers, faculty, and community members. Following their presentation, they field questions from a panel of interlocutors to fully demonstrate their understanding of the topic.

Through this process, our seniors apply the skills they have honed in the classroom over the years at MHA. Learning how to meaningfully interact with research, to critically analyze ideas, and to argue persuasively and winsomely are vital strengths that will serve our students beyond the walls of Mars Hill, wherever the Lord leads them.

We invite you to catch a vision for the culmination of a Mars Hill education by attending these engaging presentations. See the schedule below and mark your calendars to join us for these engaging presentations. Click the presentation titles for more information about each topic.

The presentations will be live-streamed on the "MHA Community Life" Facebook group for those who are unable to attend in person. If you plan to watch the live stream, please make sure to join this private group if you have not already done so, prior to the presentations. Please note: the videos will be available only through the end of May.
