Women United in the Community
Our Holiday Volunteer Project (and our final event of 2021!) was held with one of United Way of York County’s Partner Agencies, The Salvation Army, right here in York. Volunteers helped to wrap gifts for Salvation Army’s holiday distribution recipients on December 15 & 16. We had a fantastic turn out and thank everyone that joined us in making the holiday season a little brighter!

Join us for our 100th Campaign Celebration
Thanks to your support of United Way of York County and your commitment as a Women United member, we're building a community where everyone can thrive.

On the evening of April 6th, we will be celebrating YOU and the impact your donation had on Our One York Community at the Valencia Ballroom. We’ll gather in person at the Valencia Ballroom for a special evening to recognize company award winners, share an announcement about the prize giveaway, and celebrate the strength of York County. The evening includes a networking hour with heavy hors d'oeuvres followed by the Celebration program.
Committee Spotlight: Volunteer Development
Getting involved with a committee is a great way to engage with Women United and get to know some of our members better! We often hear the question: What do our committees do? Each newsletter, we'll take a deeper dive.

The Volunteer Development Committee helps to brainstorm and plan our annual volunteer events, including Day of Action. Committee members connect with local nonprofits in need, and give back by connecting Women United members with an opportunity to make an impact through their time.

Interested in getting involved? Email Nora Rotz.
